Block of the day - Delectable Mountain

Not such a good day! We arrived at around 11.30 a.m. for an appointment at 12.05. Richard was asked to drink the obligatory three cups of water at around 12.30, but we quickly noticed that there were a lot of people at the nurses' station looking at screens and looking worried. By 1.30 or so, with no patients going in to the machine, we knew something was wrong. At around 2.00 p.m. a radiographer came across to Richard to ask if he could manage to hold on!!! He eventually went through but, after about 15 minutes, he was asked if he could still hold on and go round to the other machine. He tottered round and eventually went through to that one. What a performance! We left the hospital at around 2.45 p.m.

We stopped off at Cheshire Oaks to get new pyjamas (long story) and then home. I wonder what things will be like tomorrow.
