Block of the day - Celtic Knot
Richard's appointment today was delayed until 5.40 p.m., which meant we had to be there by 5.00 p.m., which we were. As the V10-4 machine is still out of action, we were again transferred to the other machine, and - of course - the whole list was delayed because of the number of patients waiting to use it. Richard finally got in at around 7.00 p.m. and we were on our way home by 7.20 p.m.
We have been told to ring in tomorrow at around 5.00 p.m. to confirm a suggested appointment of 6.20 p.m. - at least we can have a lie-in in the morning. The V10-4 machine should receive a new part (?) tomorrow morning (presumably from the US) but it will take all day to test it before the machine can come back into service.
High spot of the day - a lovely box of flowers from Lucy, Martin and family to celebrate our anniversary tomorrow. This was via Moonpig from Guernsey! Amazing but very welcome.
Back tomorrow folks. This must be the most boring blog on the net!

well it can't be that boring cos I keep reading it! (even if I have been quite until now!). What a saga it all is with the too-ing and fro-ing.
I'm intrigued by the 'block of the day' are you sewing these by hand whilst you wait? If so do we get to see photos at some point???
Hope all the journeying is worth it and the treatment a success.

I meant 'quiet' obviously... shouldn't try to type after bedtime!

Mum has them all organised in advance, pinned together and ready to sew. She is taking one along each day.
I want to see completed photos too!!
